After a short lived attempt at Motocross and Motorcycle enduros in the mid 90's, I began racing sports cars in 1997, while selling Porsches for Brumos Porsche. Starting with local PCA Autocrosses to be with my customers; I quickly moved up to the Skip Barber Racing School,Race Series and Porsche Club Drivers Education's with my own 911. 

In 2000 I became the owner of my own car,to be converted to a race car,a 1984 Porsche 2.5 liter 944. With the help of Bob Russo, my son Cameron and a few other friends, we started to create the Lildebbieracing 944.

After a short season with the Skip Barber race series in 2000, I joined with Nort Northam in December, running a 924 S,in the SCCA ITS for a quick season that included the 24HRS of Morosso or The Longest Night. We finished 13th overall and 6th in class, during one of the coldest nights I have ever been in ( 17 deg.), BUT WHAT A BLAST!!! I have since completed a total of three 24 hours of Moroso events. Time I will never forget! Through-out 2001-2003 I have driven the Lildebbieracing 944 in several,Porsche Club Drivers Education's, SCCA and Vintage races all with some moderate success, each a great learning experience. I look forward to growing as time goes along.

2005 brought a large learning curve,to put it mildly. I participated with the Historic Sportscar Racing Series or HSR at Daytona, Roebling Road and Road Atlanta. The competition there was a little more intence. Everything moved faster, quicker, stronger.

In 2006 at the Continental Historic Racing Association or CHRA, Daytona Historics we had 3 1/2 hours of track time including a 2 hour enduro, in one day, what a blast!!! I was able to make some new friends, and have some great competitive fun.

Now we participate in just about anything track related, for fun, racing, or support. I continue to race with HSR in Group 3 and in the Vintage class, in my car, and with any other ride I can get.

For 2007 the Team has grown to two cars and two drivers. Tom Bungay and I have been friends for several years.We have raced against each other and together ,in HSR and SVRA, joining forces makes it even more fun...

2008 was a short but fun season, both racing , and working with the Brumos Race team. Lets hope that 2009 has a nice turn around and of course more track time!!!

I'm looking forward to more vintage racing with friends and family, in HSR, CHRA, SVRA, and SCCA. I hope to see you at the track.
