This is a factory 993 Cup Car raced the Harold Grohs. The car was purchased in 1197 and imported to the States and has been up in the Baltimore area. I am the 3rd owner and for the last two years, we took the car down to metal and rebuilt or replaced every component on the car.

New motor (built by Jim Higgs – JB Racing) Original components include crankshaft, case, cams. Everything else is new including heads, pistons & rods, cylinders, oil pump, timimg chains and guides, clutch, flywheel, etc.

This transmission has had some really trick work done to it. It is definitely a short gear ration tranny – Daytona is not a good track for it but all others here in the southeast (Road Atlanta, Sebring, Moroso, Roebling, Barber,South Carolina Motor sports, VIR) will work great. In addition, the main shaft has been mechanically cut (where it typically breaks and you have to buy a new complete transmission) and mechanically joined. According to those out there that raced these cars in the 90’s – this is what you do to save that shaft.

The entire suspension was removed, all worn parts replaced, all new fasteners.

All wiring harnesses were un-wrapped, inspected, and rewrapped

Body was sand blasted & primed. Replaced both rockers and front cargo floor. The frame was checked to within 1/16” straight. Both doors and hood (aluminum) replaced.

Every single piece that goes on this car has been touched.
Though I really don’t want to sell it, I have been throwing around the figure of $150,000 for the car.
